Rock Ridge is your typical Caribbean living styled villa with tropical gardens and plenty outdoor space; great for entertaining. The villa is a detached villa located in a quiet residential neighbourhood within a 10 minute walk to the renowned Gibbs Beach in St. Peter.
The villa is spacious and opens to a beautiful free form swimming pool. This two storey villa has two bedrooms on the ground floor with the master suite occupying the entire first floor. An open plan kitchen leads to the covered dining terrace and lounge, both located poolside. Having plenty room to enjoy outdoor space with its extensive covered terrace perfect for entertaining, al fresco dining or simply reading a book soaking up the tropical breezes.
Rock Ridge is located in close proximity to a wide array of west coast amenities including beautiful beaches, banks, supermarkets, shopping centers, the Limegrove Lifestyle Center and fine dining.

We had an amazing time staying at Rock Ridge. I can easily vouch for the safety of the neighbourhood and how quiet/peaceful it is.
During our time in Barbados, we stayed in a high-end villa in the Royal Westmoreland and another beachfront villa on Mullins and we had an equally good time at Rock Ridge. The lush foliage outback makes you feel like you're in a manicured tropical jungle and totally separated from the outside world. Definitely one of the most private villas and outside areas I saw. Extremely relaxing vibe and the landscaping is very well done. Perfect view for relaxing poolside or under the shaded verandah. Which brings me to our love for the comfortable outdoor lounging space. Not all the villas have this combination of outdoor space in the shade that is opened and connected to a pool where you can get as much sun as you want. So you can still hang out and chat with people easily if they are in the pool and you are in the shade or at the dining table.
The sound system was another bonus. It was nice to be able to pair the speakers inside and outside at the same time. Sonos is great.
We didn't spend much time inside other than to cook and sleep but it is very well kept and had a homey feel. Some rentals feel like just that, a "rental". Meaning it doesn't have much personal touch. Rock Ridge had a very comfortable and welcoming feel like a home away from home.
The info binder left by the owner is also helpful to know what is in the surrounding area, for example, how to get to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores.
The walk to the beach is pleasant and easy. The only thing I'd say is that since there isn't a sidewalk I could see how some families with young kids could be apprehensive as the cars do wiz by quite fast.
All in all a great villa and a great stay.
Rock Ridge has been a lovely home away from home for a break in Beautiful Barbados. The size of the villa was perfect for our needs and the pool is a great size for swimming and fun.
Andrea has been an absolute gem during our stay, being efficient, discreet and friendly all balled into one package! A definite keeps! Thank you, this has been a wonderful much needed holiday.
